what a fine day it started out....going on a field trip to the Asian Civilisation Museum in the morning. haven been there for quite some time already....quite surprised to see it actually renovated and air-conditioned...overall quite pleasant, however, it seems too tourist-sy....after staying there for almost 2hrs, the next destination was the calligraphy shop at Bras Basar Complex....guess wad....we took a taxi from the museum to the complex when it was less than 2km away...the taxi driver must have felt very "shuang" to actually told to drive such a short distance...wasting his time and energy....haha...whatever..he should have been happy to pocket $3.30 for driving for only 5min...spent 1hr there learning about the different brushes used in calligraphy(wolf hair, sheep hair, wolf-sheep hair) and some other basic stuff...then proceeding to the national library to so-call research on calligraphy...but in actual fact the lending library is horrendously limited for its holding capacity...why lease reference books out?? -.- had lunch at Chin-chin coffee shop after that with ron, nick neo, and ivan after browsing thru some sports books..

Best part came when i got on bus 36 to go home after lunch....i dozed off almost straight away, by the time i woke up....i was already at VJC...5 bus-stops after my intended stop.(marine parade)...thinking that i would alight at the 6th bus-stop and take the bus opposite to go back....the bus never stopped....it continued all the way to Changi Airport.....wth.....the nightmare was still not over, walking thru the underpass to the opposite bus-stop, i waited for 15min until i saw a bus 36 approaching, i walked up, raised my hand and waited for the bus to stop....it never did....then i realised that bus 36 does not stop at the bus-stop although it stops on the opposite side....neither did any bus that could get me home was available...had no choice but to take a taxi.....and my wallet is left with a big hole....sigh...it seems like these kinda of incidents can only happen to blur people like me....wad bad luck..
